From Trash to Tools | Tailor’s ham from fabric scraps

Throwing away my textile scraps? Not in this household! New tailor’s ham unlocked and infinite but very time-consuming opportunities galore. Pillow-shaped objects in all shapes and sizes really do make for the most wonderful scrap-busting opportunities. Patchwork too. While fiddly, it really was a whole lot of fun!

This video may or may not have been almost entirely inspired by the catchy pirate-themed interlude. I admit nothing.

My mountain of scraps has not really diminished considerably since this project either though. I foresee more scrap-busting ideas in our future, though maybe not straight away.

    Adjustable Pants That ALWAYS Fit!

I know it would probably have been easier to start my trouser-drafting journey with something adamantly NOT adjustable. But where is the fun in that? In retrospect, I very obviously should have interfaced the waistbands with some more structural canvas to help it out. Which I might add later. This project was so much fun.…
