I had so much fun resizing and rescuing my grandma’s coat from the “not usable” pile, that I went and did it again to a friend’s unfinished object as well! This too is thrift. After all, it is much better to get a garment to a wearable state than for it to languish in the UFO pile.

I hope this inspires you to rescue something unfinished as well. Be that finishing it or salvaging the materials for something else. 😀

Personally, I think this is one of the best parts about being creative and learning new skills. When you learn how to do a thing, you also learn how to adapt and change it to your needs. Thrift and sustainability at its finest.
